What is Flow3 Point?

Flow3 Points are the rewards you earn for contributing to the Flow3 Network. These points can be accumulated by maintaining an active internet connection, referring others, participating in tasks, and becoming a node validator. The points you earn can later be converted into Flow3 Network Tokens, providing tangible value for your contributions to the decentralized network.

How Flow3 Points Are Calculated

In Flow3 Network, points are earned based on your contribution to the network and the quality of your connection. As long as the Flow3 extension is active and your internet connection is running, you’ll accumulate points automatically. When you open the Chrome browser and the extension starts running, your connection is counted towards the total points earned.

The points are influenced by the quality of your connection. For example, if your connection quality is at 100%, you earn the maximum points—typically 1,000 points. If your connection quality is lower, say 45%, you will earn a corresponding percentage of the total points. In this case, 45% of 1,000 points would give you 450 points. This ensures that users with better connections are rewarded more, while everyone still earns based on their contribution.

To maintain balance, there’s a cap on daily earnings. You can earn up to 15,000 points per day. Once you hit that limit, you won't be able to accumulate more points for that day, promoting efficient and balanced participation.

Referral

Flow3 also offers a referral system where users can earn additional points. When someone joins Flow3 using your referral link (F1), you receive 10% of their points as the referrer (F0). Importantly, these points are added to your balance and do not deduct from the person you referred. For instance, if the new user earns 1,000 points, you would receive an additional 100 points as the referrer. This incentivizes users to invite others and expand the network.

Node Validator: Earn More Points

Becoming a Node Validator is another great way to earn Flow3 Points. By operating Validator Nodes, you contribute to the decentralization and security of the network. The more nodes you have, the more points you earn. As a validator, you can earn up to 10x points for your contributions, and depending on how many nodes you operate, your rewards increase dramatically.

  • 2 Nodes: Earn +150,000 Flow3 Points

  • 5 Nodes: Earn +350,000 Flow3 Points

  • 10 Nodes: Earn +800,000 Flow3 Points

  • 50 Nodes: Earn +5,000,000 Flow3 Points

Note: These points are one-time rewards for each level of node participation. After you set up and operate your nodes, the corresponding points are awarded to you based on the number of nodes.

Task System: Earning Points Through Participation

In addition to network connection and referrals, Flow3 Network offers a task system to reward users for engaging in specific activities. The tasks vary, ranging from community-based actions to more technical contributions, and they allow users to earn extra points. Each task is assigned a certain number of points, depending on its complexity or importance.

For example, users can complete tasks such as participating in surveys, helping spread the word about Flow3 on social media, or testing new features. More involved tasks, like providing detailed feedback or contributing to technical aspects of the platform, may reward users with significantly more points. The task list is regularly updated, giving users new opportunities to earn points by participating in fresh activities.

By engaging in tasks, users can earn points in addition to those acquired through maintaining their connection, referring others, or validating nodes. This system encourages active participation and helps the network grow through user involvement.
